How is maple syrup made & where does it come from?

Have you ever wondered where maple syrup came from? Have you ever wanted to know how it was made? It is quite an amazing process. The maple syrup is made out of the sap that comes from a maple tree (obviously, it isn't THAT simple)!

Lanark County (west of Ottawa) is known as the "Maple Syrup Capital of Ontario, Canada". In Lanark County there are two Sugar Bushes that make maple syrup and maple products.
